ACCOMODATIONS:
Private and semi private rooms are
available. Rooms are assigned according to availability
and resident need and preference. Cable TV is provided
in the common living area and participants are free to
choose to have TV in their private rooms. Telephones
are accessible to clients at all times, however clients
are responsible for all their personal long distance
calls. Clients have the option of having their own phone
in their room.
FURNISHINGS:
In the group home setting all basic furnishings are provided
by the agency with client preference involved in the choice
making. Participants are welcome to purchase additional
furniture and decor and as well as electronic entertainment
items as desired. In the Supported Living home, clients
share the responsibility for furnishing and leasing the
home, paying utilities, maintaining the grounds and purchasing
their own household supplies and personal items. An inventory
of the resident's property is maintained.
LAUNDRY AND LINENS:
The agency provides linens in the group home setting and
pays for laundry and all general household expenses. Residents
are welcome to purchase their own personal linens if they
so choose. Such expenses are client responsibility in the
supported living setting. Laundry is done as needed in
both homes and safe and sanitary.
